Robson was in his 11th season as Manchester United captain when this card was issued. The 1991-92 campaign saw United win the League Cup, beating Nottingham Forest in the final, while also finishing second in the First Division behind Leeds United.
By this stage of his career, Robson was battling persistent back and hamstring injuries, but remained a key figure under Alex Ferguson as United stood on the brink of the sustained success that would arrive with the first Premier League title the following season.
