1990 Pro Set #10 Kevin Campbell MGC 10
This Kevin Campbell card is number 10 from the 1990 Pro Set English Football collection, covering the 1990-91 First Division season.
The 1990 Pro Set was the debut series of English football cards produced by the American manufacturer Pro Set, featuring a 328 card checklist covering all four divisions.
The 1990-91 campaign was Campbell’s breakthrough season at Arsenal. Still just 21 years old, he established himself in the senior squad after loan spells at Leyton Orient and Leicester City, playing up front alongside Alan Smith and Paul Merson.
He scored eight goals during a ten match run in as George Graham’s Arsenal side clinched the First Division title, finishing seven points clear of Liverpool despite a two point deduction earlier in the season. It was the club’s second league title in three seasons.
