The 1992-93 season would see Arsenal win both the FA Cup and League Cup.
Born in Manchester on 17 March 1964, Dixon worked his way up through the lower divisions at Burnley, Chester City, Bury and Stoke City before Arsenal signed him in January 1988 for £375,000. He went on to make 619 appearances across 14 seasons, winning four league titles, three FA Cups, the League Cup and the European Cup Winners’ Cup.
