Born in Nottingham on 23 May 2001, Johnson is the son of former Nottingham Forest and Jamaica international David Johnson. He joined Forest’s academy at the age of eight and was a key player in their promotion to the Premier League in 2021-22. He has represented Wales at senior level since 2020, including at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
