This is an early card of Haaland from his first season at Borussia Dortmund. He joined the club in January 2020 from Red Bull Salzburg for a fee reported at around €20 million, having already announced himself on the world stage with a remarkable Champions League group stage campaign in which he became the first teenager to score in five consecutive matches in the competition. He made an immediate impact at Dortmund, scoring a hat trick on his Bundesliga debut as a substitute against Augsburg.

Haaland spent two and a half seasons at Dortmund, winning the DFB-Pokal in 2021, before joining Manchester City in the summer of 2022. He won the treble in his first season at City and has continued to rewrite scoring records at every level of the game. He is one of the most prolific goalscorers football has ever produced.
