The 2020–21 Topps Chrome UEFA set covers Ronaldo’s third season at Juventus. It was a transitional campaign for the club under new manager Andrea Pirlo. Ronaldo won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana and finished as Serie A’s top scorer, but Juventus were eliminated from the Champions League in the round of 16 by Porto.
Ronaldo joined Juventus in the summer of 2018 for €100 million, becoming the most expensive signing in Italian football history. He won two Serie A titles in his first two seasons and scored 101 goals in 134 appearances across three seasons at the club before departing in the summer of 2021.
